WGG Maintenance are the Fabric maintenance specialist contractors at Lacon House which is a
multi-tenanted building based in central London. We as a company cover all planned and reactive requirements outside of mechanical & electrical services, which ensures the daily operations of the building are functioning well.
We have an onsite fabric maintenance engineer. Services we have provided at Lacon House include, roofing, flooring, glazing, drainage, tiling & painting. We strive to exceed requirements by finding difficult to source parts and going above and beyond our clients' expectations. We work closely with the building manager to ensure we are always delivering.
St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey
Directional floor signage system
St Peter’s Hospital required a directional floor signage system to be implemented at their Chertsey site as part of their Covid-19 response. After meeting with their management team, we provided a plan of what would be installed and how it would work to encourage people to follow the signage by using signs that were similar to road markings, which would be easy for people to recognise and follow.
The floor signage used had to be made from specific materials to ensure it could easily be cleaned, would not house bacteria and would be hard wearing. We worked closely with one of our trusted suppliers on this project. Once the plan had been finalised by their management team, we scheduled an installation date where the signage was successfully installed.

On-site fabric maintenance services
We have provided on site fabric maintenance services to 160 QVS for several years and have a great working relationship with the building manager. Our on site experienced engineer provides high quality workmanship to the various requirements of this prestigious site. Our professionalism and flexibility allow for important day-to -day tasks to be carried out at times suitable to our clients needs, avoiding any impact on the operation of this building which is predominantly used by an America financial institution.
We carry out PPMs to ensure continuity and to highlight and resolve any issues that may arise. Our services have included, glazing, roof works, tiling, sourcing hard to find fittings, signage, plant room floor painting, sourcing, and providing PPE and all related signage, barriers & screens during the Covid-19 pandemic.
