WGG Maintenance Ltd’s first contract was at the Adelphi Building in central London, carrying out day to day handyman and maintenance within the building for the landlord’s P&O estates. The Adelphi was purchased by Blackstone in November 2012 and WGG secured the fabric contract with the new landlords and went on to gain fabric works and contracts over the years in many of their buildings.
The range of works which WGG Maintenance are involved in are varied. We have undertaken large roofing projects such as waterproofing the flat roofs at the Adelphi (quoted value over £250,000), with a fifteen-year guarantee; stripping out redundant plant from International House St Katherine Docks Quoted value over £270,000; to carrying out small decorating and repair jobs with values in the range of £200, with everything in between from carpet tiles to ceiling tiles.
We also offer a glazing service. We have changed many broken sealed units to commercial buildings which have involved hiring of cranes etc to be able to remove and install new panes.
We specialise in providing commercial buildings with onsite handy men, carrying out daily routine checks and repairs also carrying out small works. WGG have gone on to carry out fabric maintenance and projects for several large managing agents, such as Knight Frank, Savills, Metrus, Workman and JLL, working in various buildings within London.
